The D10 Series Lead-Free Bronze Water meter by Assured Automation is ideal for residential and commercial metering situations. It is a positive displacement meter that uses a nutating disc method of measurement which is a time-tested method for accuracy and dependability. It’s certified to meet lead free requirements by NSF 61-G (NSF 372) and is offered in sizes from ½” to 2” and measures in Gallons. Where this meter is different than most others in the water meter market is that it can be installed in any direction (vertical, horizontal or any angle with the face in any direction- except for face down in the horizontal position) and it is approved for below grade installations (pit water meter applications). Couplings are also included for ½” through 1” which provide a lead-free brass nipple and nut and a gasket for each end of the meter that will give you male NPT threaded connections. For the larger sizes, 1 ½ and 2 inch, the meter provides for a flanged end connection. We offer lead free brass flange kits as an option. In addition, this versatile meter has an optional pulse output that can be used for reading it remotely. The pulse rate is set to one pulse per gallon for all sizes. Looking for a meter that doesn't require a lot of straight pipe runs for confined spaces? The D10 Series meter will be your solution. Since it uses the positive displacement method of measuring, there are no requirements for straight pipe runs, before or after the meter. This meter is also a good substitution for the WM-NLD Series meter which has been discontinued.
