Product Description
Utilizing the multi-jet principal of measurement, this 3/4" NPT meter is made of the highest grade polymer. This allows it to be not only, very light weight and durable but also economical. In addition, it can be installed horizontally or vertically making it very versatile for a number of applications. These meters meet the Federal Drinking Water Act’s lead requirements. They also have the option to be ordered with California approval (choose that option when ordering and the HOT water version must be installed horizontally with the face up to meet CA requirements). The accuracy of this meter is +/- 1.5% and with the ability to measure to the nearest hundredth of a gallon with a simple to read register. An included Leak detector will indicate when there is a very small flow passing through the meter (accurately down to 0.50 gpm). The meter also comes complete with a pulse output which is set for 1 pulse for every 10 gallons. This is useful when you need to read the measurement data from somewhere other than where the meter is installed.

- These meters are calibrated to a different standard. The AWWA standard allows for 3% variance on low flow and 1.5% on medium and high flow but to be a CA meter these are calibrated to 0.1% standard in maximize the pass rate in CA. This requires a lot more time and testing at the factory which is why they are different from the standard meters. This calibration is significant because manufacturers are not accepting returns from CA weights and measures due to faulty testing equipment and untrained staff.
